Privacy Policy

Faveside is a creator-discovery and organization service. This policy explains the information we handle and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

How we use information

We use information to operate Faveside, synchronize your choices, provide parent-managed experiences, deliver account and support messages, confirm membership status, display creator-authorized public TikTok information, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information.

Children and parent-managed profiles

Faveside accounts are for adults. A child profile is not a separate account and should be created only by a parent, legal guardian, or adult with authority to consent. The child view does not ask the child for an email address, birth date, or contact information. It uses a nickname or first name, an adult-selected list of approved creators, and a necessary restricted-session cookie. Do not use a child’s full name or enter sensitive information.

Parent Controls help limit what Faveside returns in the child view, but they do not control linked third-party sites and are not a substitute for adult supervision. If you believe a child provided personal information directly to Faveside, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

Service providers

We may rely on hosting, email, payments, and creator-platform providers to operate the service. They receive only the information needed to perform their services and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. When enabled, Square handles hosted checkout, YouTube provides public creator data, and TikTok provides information expressly authorized by the connected TikTok user.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the service, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. Verification and reset links expire and are stored as cryptographic hashes. TikTok access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and are revoked when a connected user disconnects, when revocation is available. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

An adult account holder can remove a child profile in Parent Controls, disconnect TikTok and revoke Faveside’s authorization, or delete the entire account from Account Settings. You may request access, correction, or deletion of account information by contacting Faveside. Some records may be retained when required for security or legal reasons.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Faveside develops. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Privacy questions or deletion concerns may be sent to support@faveside.com.
